[Probably not, but neither of these two did for once.
Wherever Ardyn decided to pick up a quick bite from, on the side of it tucked away was someone breathing heavily and grunting in pain. Eventually the source of the noise started to hobble away from the place, mumbling to seemingly no one. Ardyn might at least recognize him from that awful stint in November where the false visage of his piece of shit brother reared his head.]
Shut up... just shut up...
[He looked terrible. Felt terrible, worse than he had in weeks and he's not been at home this week at all, staying on the town's outskirts.
Kind of weird, but none of Ardyn's business right? Except for what seemed like a very brief flash of a little puncture in reality following just behind Ragna.]
[...Hm. Ordinarily he probably would have ignored it, but that little flicker in reality caught his attention. He hopped between a few shadows, following Ragna a short distance behind and starting to catch up to him.]
[There's someone following, Ragna... Someone is here, something is wrong, why won't you listen?!]
Shut UP--! I can handle whatever it is... if it tries to fuck with me...
[So he says, but he sounded incredibly exhausted. It sucked, it fucking sucked that while he was this tired his stupid goddamn mind went to wishing nothing would have happened on that goddamn day he got possessed.
Why couldn't it have been a regular day?! It was supposed to be a good fucking day even if he was forced to lug three tubs of ice cream all the way from the goddamn Stora Coop.
It was as soon as that thought entered his head that the puncture in reality tore more and became an entire foreboding gate and a few long moments after, a monster's head crept out of it.]
[Well, that was incredibly poorly timed. Then again, daemons and spirit gates always were. The questioning was going to have to wait--he hopped out of the shadow he'd been hiding in, mentally reaching into his pocket dimension for his sword.]
["I told you...!! I TOLD YOU--! Ever since the city fell again...!! I HAVE TO DO IT RAGNA!!!"
Ragna barely got a word in edgewise before the regulator on his right hand opened, and from it some sort of heavily corrupted shadow magic flowed out of it.]
Old man, you have to get the FUCK away, NOW!! What are you doing?!
[The last bit not said to Ardyn but if the corruption running up Ragna's face wasn't a red flag as it is, another factor would.
The fact that Ragna's arm wasn't overflowing with power yet. But rather it was forcing all lifeforce into it.]

You gotta be fucking kidding me!
